Once upon a time, there was a smart mouse deer. He was enjoying eating grass on the bank of river. When he was enjoying it, he saw trees full of fruits across the river. However, he could not find bridge to reach the fruits. Then, he saw crocodiles and tried to trick them.

    He said that he was bringing fresh meat from the King, and he wanted to count the crocodiles before sharing the meets. He asked them to make a row and said that he would count the number.

    Once the crocodiles made a row, he started to jump on their backs while counting.The crocodile was not aware of the trick until they saw that the mouse deer was already on the opposite side of the river.

KANCIL DAN BUAYA

    Suatu ketika, ada seekor kancil yang cerdik. Dia sedang menikmati rumput di tepi sungai. Ketika dia sedang makan, dia melihat pohon-pohon penuh dengan buah di seberang sungai.
Namun, dia tiak dapat menemukan jembatan untuk mencapai buah itu. Lalu, dia melihat rombongan buaya di sungai dan dia mencoba membohongi mereka.

    Dia mengatakan bahwa dia membawa daging segar dari Sang Raja, dan dia ingin menghitung jumlah buaya tersebut dahulu sebelum membagikannya. Dia meminta para buaya untuk berbaris dan dia akan mulai menghitung.

    Ketika buaya sudah berbaris, Kancil pun mulai melompat ke punggung buaya sambil menghitung. Para buaya tidak menyadari tipuan tersebut hingga mereka melihat si Kancil sudah ada di sisi lain dari sungai.
